MLRBS is an excellent, quick, 5-10 minute game to pick up and play for both family game night and with friends. It's kid-friendly and my five-year-old picked it up by the end of her first game, and then kept asking to play it more (she also LOVES the pink cards and even drew her own!).

Something unique about this game is its co-op strategy. Unlike most games that pit you against one another, MLRBS is a "we all win or we all lose together" kind of game. I love this type of cooperative strategy to teach my kindergarten-aged daughter the importance of working together to achieve a positive outcome. Plus, because we can all see each other's cards, we can all plan together and come up with different ideas of who should put down what color/shape and in what order.

Outside of game play, the packaging is small making it easy to travel with and take with you on family trips (or business trips to play with colleagues). The cards themselves feel great in your hands; sturdy with the right amount of flex. And the fact that it's color-blind friendly is a huge win.

Overall, MLRBS is a wonderful and fun game that gives you that feeling of "just one more". It's addicting and makes for an excellent alternative to a game like Uno, which gets very tiring after the 30th round with your kid.

This was super fun cooperative game that was combination of frustrating because it is hard to win but not so challenging you want to give up! Again kids could just play but not win while adults can really try to win. But you really celebrate if you actually win! More explanation on how to use the power cards would be helpful as we weren't sure on the magnet.

My husband and I LOVE this game! It’s not as easy as it appears. Easy to learn and compact so it will travel well. We have only played two of us but look forward to playing with more!

As a dad of a 6 year old and a teacher that runs after school programs for children from ages 5-13 MRBLS is one of the most intuitive and fun games we've played in a while. The game makes sense at every skill level and the difficulty is easily modified. I'm already looking into picking up a second copy since our copy at school gets so much use. The cards are great quality, bright, and easy to distinguish from each other. Gameplay is tight, fun and easy to follow. In short, we love MRBLS!Jamesbonner

Frequently Asked Questions

What if the 11th or 12th card in the row makes a triad?

If you start a turn with the row at 10 cards, your team is on thin ice. You play a card pushing the row to 11. If you don't make a triad, the next card gets revealed making it the 12th card in the row.

If this card makes a triad or somehow clears the row to 10 or below, play continues to the next player. This is because the row never exceeded 10 at the start of the next players turn.

Does the Magnet go anywhere when revealed from the deck?

Yes. Even when the Magnet is revealed from the deck, the player who revealed it can play the magnet anywhere within the row, not just the end.

Theres no cards left in the deck however we passed 10 cards, did we lose?

Yes. At any point, even after the deck has run out, if at the start of a players turn the row has exceeded 10 cards, all players lose.
